Job Summary:
Accounting Analyst is responsible for performing J-SOX audit work, process improvements, Musashi Auto Parts Canada’s (MAP-C) accounting functions and supporting Musashi’s Global SAP team in cost accounting, master data management and other related duties and projects.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business
- CPA designation preferred
- 3+ years of related work experience in auditing of control systems, preferably JSOX or SOX
- Cost accounting and master data management experience
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP
- SAP experience preferred
- Microsoft Office experience with intermediate to advance Excel skills
- Able to travel occasionally for business activities

Job Responsibilities:
- Comply with IFRS and GAAP principles, J-SOX requirements, and company standards, policies and procedures
- J-SOX compliance activities using control concepts and methodologies
- Master data management
- Cost and variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities
- Analyze financial transactions
- Corporate financial statements, reports and presentations
- Maintain a fully integrated SAP system
- Perform other related duties as required
