A leading professional services firm, is looking for an Accounting Supervisor to join their team. The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for guaranteeing correct accrual, reconciliation and allocation of costs in abidance with IFRS and Canadian legal obligations. This firm is looking for an expert Accounting Supervisor who is ideally has 5+ years of progressive experience in a financial or accounting environment.
As the Accounting Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include managing a staff of three in Accounts Payable, Cash Applications and General Accounting. Your secondary responsibilities will include preparing and reviewing banking transactions and bank reconciliations. Other major responsibilities will include preparing cash flow forecasts, variable and cost allocation entries as well as HFM and other financial reporting.
As the qualified candidate for the Accounting Supervisor role you will have at least 5 years of progressive experience in a financial or accounting environment . You will also have experience or knowledge of Great Plains, Excel (i.e. pivot tables, vlookup, formatting, Macros), and Word .
For the Accounting Supervisor role your starting salary will be negotiable, depending on years of experience, plus 3 weeks’ vacation. In addition to this, you will be joining a reputable professional services firm.
