Wage is a Peer-to-Peer Recruitment Platform for Software Developers, powered by the Ethereum Blockchain.
Our mission is to democratize the Job Market and allow Software Developers to earn Wage Digital Tokens for engaging with companies on the platform. We are currently testing our platform and have some of the fastest growing and most exciting Technology companies in Toronto signed up to recruit the Software Developers on Wage.
It doesn’t matter if you are actively looking for your next job, or just curious to learn about what other companies and opportunities are out there, you can earn Wage digital tokens and share in the revenues that the recruitment industry has historically made from your talent.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Create a profile and get rewarded in WAGE Tokens
- Complete a Peer Review to get your skills and experience validated
- Get to know the awesome companies on WAGE and get matched with new and exciting opportunities that match your personal preferences and technical skills
- Receive Wage Tokens for every step of the interview process
- Hold onto the Wage tokens and watch their value grow, or “cash out” and convert your Wage tokens into Canadian Dollars
Qualifications and Skills
- Software programmer with minimum of 5 yrs experience in developing backend software solutions (Ruby, Python, Java, Javascript, SQL, MongoDB)
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Experience working with Angular 2 applications (other single page framework experience also an asset)
- Experience with source control (e.g. Git, SVN)
- Experience with Node.js is a plus
- Experience working with data-handling using AJAX, JSON, and REST API
