Welcome to CAR PICS 2.0. We are a team of young entrepreneurs, wizards, mathematicians, friends, and odd balls scheming together in a comfortable open concept office where discussions range from video games to artificial intelligence. Oh, and it is recommended you own a nerf gun.
We have an opening for a software engineer with focus on mobile applications (both iOS and Android native). If you have the capability to work on app backend too, great! The major tech you will be working with is:
- Swift, Android SDK
- Java + JUnit, Maven, Python
- AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, Dynamo, SQS, SNS, SES), Google Cloud Platform
- Linux environment, bash
- MySQL, MongoDB, cloud databases
- Git and Github, command line must be your friend
You will be working in high-paced environment sometimes on several projects at a time. You will be touching production and we will expect you not to break things. You will be asked to maintain strict code style, write unit and integration tests, and your code will go through code review process before being merged, yet you will be expected to be agile. You will be reporting directly to the CTO. If you are up for the challenge, you are our guy! The location of our office is in Burlington ; you will be expected to work from there.

Authorization to work in Canada is required. We currently do not support relocations and visas.
