Job Description

The Program Assistant will be working closely with Cheng on the development and all other aspects of Talent Portal. This includes but not limited to,

1. Operation
   1. Help transfer shared opportunities from wechat group into online job posting, ensure the accuracy and completeness of content (4 hr/week)
   2. Brainstorm and help write out business development plan and map out processes and road map (1-2 hr/week)
   3. Conduct research on certain topics and summarize it for discussion, and publish document online in Blog section (1-2 hr/week)
   4. Help design and roll out road map and programs (1-2 hr/week)
2. Event Management (10-20 hr/event)
   1. Assist in Event Management, such as scheduling, coordination, event agenda set up and speaker coordination
   2. Help post events online and response questions as needed
   3. Assist in contacting speakers, collect and review bio
   4. Attend event (usually weekend)
3. Location
   1. This is mostly a work from home volunteering position, but candidate should be able to attend meeting locally at Toronto and event as needed
4. Training
   1. Training will be provided as needed

Job Requirements

1. No previous experience required
2. Quick learner & Detail oriented
3. Passion and time for volunteering
4. Volunteering is a long-term commitment,  no momentary return
