Whether you are looking for employment or information on literacy, academic upgrading, Ontario Works, Apprenticeship guidance, Ontario Disability Support Program, Second Career eligibility, and/or Employment Insurance, visit one of our Resource Centres nearest to you. What sets us apart? Our Resource Centres offer FREE employment related access to computers, internet, printing, photocopying, telephone and fax, as well as workshops on resume development, cover letter writing, interview preparation, online job search strategies, career exploration, workplace safety training and more! RECAP: SLC Employment Service provides you with fast and friendly service and on-the-spot support during your job hunt. Our services are open to the public and are free of charge. Whether you are looking for full-time or part-time employment, or seeking information on Second Career programs and skills training, we are here to answer all of your questions. Resources and tools are available at each Resource Centre in Kingston, Sharbot Lake, Ottawa, and Sydenham. More intensive employment assistance is available to those who qualify to become registered clients. Simply put, you are eligible if you are currently unemployed and not in school.
