We’re looking for a Business Systems Analyst to work directly with clients and internal customers to develop creative solutions and deliver excellent service. This position will allow you to leverage your technical skills, analytical skills, problem solving techniques and customer service aptitude by combining them to ensure 24×7 availability of a complex, mission critical suite of applications that support our Consumer Markets clients. It’s fast paced, there’s never a dull moment, and you’ll be part of a talented team that enjoys working together. Okay, sounds interesting so far… What are some of the responsibilities?

You love to work collaboratively with Clients, Vendors and IT Peers to investigate problems, identify root causes and implement solutions that keep the problem from happening again.

Working with teams of Developers and BSA’s to successfully deliver service, solutions and continuous improvements.

Collaborating with Developers to define system requirements and test quality solutions to meet our business needs and delight our customers.

Sharing your skills and knowledge for the benefit of the team and providing direction and leadership to less experienced team members

Supporting and modifying application components across disparate platforms and technologies

Collaborating with geographically and culturally diverse cross-functional teams

Identifying trends and bringing great ideas to the table to support continuous improvement to team and departmental best practices Qualifications

What kind of experience are you looking for? I’m glad you asked. Some of these are definite needs and some are “nice to haves”… Needs:

Minimum 2+ years of BSA experience in a complex IT environment with large business applications

Relevant post-secondary diploma or degree in Business, or IS or equivalent work experience

Strong communication skills – We communicate A LOT so being able to be clear and concise with a measure of tact is a must.

A “figure it out” attitude – The ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision

Accountability – The ability to deliver work within agreed-upon deadlines and a strong commitment to quality

Familiarity with a multi-platform, distributed environment (Windows and some Mainframe)

You love learning and champion change

Caring for your fellow human beings – Our team is a family that cares for and supports one another. Team fit is as important to us as skill set. Nice to Haves:

A sense of humor. The work we do is serious but there’s no reason we can’t enjoy doing it.

Financial Services experience

We work in a Microsoft .NET platform so experience including Visual Studio, SQL Reporting Services

Web portal and/or IVR front end experience
