Accountant will perform the indirect tax accounting, primarily concerning the accuracy and compliance on monthly filing and reporting of indirect tax. The accountant will also assist with the closing of books and ensuring proper financial reporting and tax management. May participate in tax audit preparation for ad-hoc projects.
Accounting:
- Responsible for assisting with monthly closing and year-end audit
- Perform GL and financial statement analysis
- Manage long-term overdue accounts
- Endure compliance with company policy and procedure
Taxation:
- Assist with preparation of tax returns for corporate income and sales taxes
- Assist with transfer pricing audit
- Government authorities’ tax audit
- Custom duty monitoring and management
- Environmental handling fees monitoring and management
Financial reporting:
- Prepare reporting package to the parent company
- Perform ad hoc reporting and project
- Perform internal accounting control assessment
- Approve vendor accounts setup
Qualifications
- BA/BS in Business with an emphasis in Accounting
- Minimum one year experience in the financial reporting/general ledger area
- Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast -pace setting. Must have strong experience with Microsoft Excel, PPT and Word.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, supervisory and customer service skills
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Korean proficiency is preferred
