Accounts Assistant Job Duties:
- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information
- Help Accounts Payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing
- Work with Accounts Receivable: apply cash receipt, help with collection of past due balance, and prepare AR reports
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account
- Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting
- Companywide accounting: help with G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing
