Job Duties:
- Customize and integrate Android framework components to realize the automotive requirements and features
- Enhance and customize the framework and connectivity sub-systems based on the existing Android Framework such as WiFi, Bluetooth, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), NFC etc. for the vehicle infotainment system
- Develop the best-in-class in-vehicle platform, solution and prototypes for next generation automotive infotainment systems
- Responsible for the deliverables of the assigned domain, including system design, development, deployment and maintenance of the infotainment software
- Understand software architecture and carry out coding, Unit Test and test case design reviews
- New feature development, maintenance of existing software and develop bug solutions and prevention proposals
- Participate in feature requirement and design reviews and relevant software development procedures
- Review software development process and accompanying documentation
- Collaborate with software development team using Scrum/Agile software and development process
- Propose technical solutions, make design implementation decisions and coach junior members

Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in software engineering or a related discipline
Work Experience:
- 4 or more years of Android development experience or software engineering experience
- Software development experience in a variety of OS environments is a plus
- Experience with the integration of Android framework and device bring up is a plus
- Experience with the porting of Android ROM is a plus
- Experience with the development of automotive infotainment solutions is a plus
- Experience with automotive and/or portable consumer electronic devices is a plus
