Controller

PALFINGER North America, an international manufacturing and distribution company located in Niagara Falls, is seeking a motivated individual with a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and principles to assume the role of Controller.
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 5 years’ experience as a Controller or in a similar financial reporting role
- A professional accounting designation or equivalent experience
- Expert knowledge of accounting and financial theories, practices, tax, and applicable legislation
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Advanced level MS Excel skills, and experience with computerized accounting software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
In this hands-on role, the successful candidate’s responsibilities will include financial statements, forecasting, inventory management, and management reporting.
Salary will be commensurate with experience. Palfinger offers an excellent benefits package.
