Role:
This is a full-time role primarily responsible for building models for supply data analysis, and providing recommendations that will support our supply and rail freight functions. The Data Analyst will support the manager in procuring information from Operations, Sales, Finance/IT and Purchasing. The core functions of the role will be to develop metrics for forecasting, developing loading schedules, and tracking market and category trends. The position will work with the supply and logistics team on delivery reporting and analysis and creating usable reports from information collected from applicable sources and McAsphalt’s corporate ERP system.
The role will also include KPI Monitoring and analysis pertaining to sales data, forecasting accuracy, inventory, freight tables, and demurrage. Analyzing the current process and new forecasting methodologies, tools, and techniques to help improve forecast accuracy and create overall Supply Chain efficiencies.
