The Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for leading, establishing, maintaining and implementing the processes required to manage the data framework, policies and standards for Enterprise Data Lake (EDL), as well as ensuring alignment with the enterprise data governance framework for data policies, standards and practices.
What will you do?
Help define roles and responsibilities related to data governance; ensure clear accountability for data stewardship.
Serve as a liaison between Business and Functional areas and technology to ensure that data-related business requirements for protecting sensitive data are clearly defined, communicated, well-understood and considered part of operational prioritization and planning.
Facilitate the development and implementation of data quality standards, data protection standards and adoption requirements; define indicators for compliance
Ensure that data governance deliverables align with industry best practices and evolving regulatory expectations.
Collaborate with the CDO to develop and maintain the inventory of enterprise information maps.
Establish and govern the DNA data governance implementation roadmap for the adoption and oversight of the data and report governance and controls policies.
Collaborate with the enterprise data management offices to roll out the data accountability model for Data Management & Insights.
Develop and maintain a list of data owners for DNA – Enterprise Data Lake (EDL).
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
5+ years of experience within a large-scale data organization
Knowledge of industry-leading data quality and data protection management practices
Experience with data architecture and best practices
Knowledge of data-related government regulatory requirements and emerging trends and issues
Knowledge of the financial industry
Experience using industry tools (e.g. Waterline, Collibra, Alation, Information Governance Catalog)
