Food R&D Associate

Job Duties

• Food Research and Development
• Package labeling including ingredients, cooking instruction, NFT
• Manage multiple developments simultaneously and under tight deadlines; assist the development,
  testing, manufacturing of new product line: e.g. frozen meal
• Work with production manager development of new products to match business, customer,
  regulatory and cost guidelines
• Work with QA manager regarding formulation and modify recipes as required to meet
  nutritional/quality specifications & optimize scale-up
• Contact supplier for supporting documentations
• Accurately document recipes and results of pilot and plant trials

Job Qualifications

• At least 1-year experience in GFSI (SQF, BRC) certified plant
• At least 1-year experience in food factory
• At least 1-year experience in HACCP
• Knowledge of food labeling regulation
• Decent knowledge with Genesis database
• Food science background is preferred
• Be able to read and write Chinese as the documentation and communications with the Managers
  need to be done in Chinese frequently
