General Accountant

A progressive and diversified construction company with offices in St. Catharines and Hamilton is looking for an experienced General Accountant to work at our St. Catharines office.

Responsibilities and Duties


As General Accountant, you will prepare and maintain daily/monthly financial operations for multiple companies including general ledger, accounts payable, billing and accounts receivables.

Your duties will also include preparation of year-end financial statement files, Government reporting and reconciliations, various quarterly and annual reporting requests, and other ad hoc reports as required by the business.

Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate will have a current accounting designation, and at least 5 years experience in a financial / accounting role along with having advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills, Jonas software experience and ex perience in Heavy Civil Construction / Aggregates a plus.
