Crown is seeking to hire an Investment Analyst to join the team in its Toronto office.
The primary functions and responsibilities of the role include:
- Due diligence and underwriting on new investments, including
- In-depth financial analysis
- Financial modeling
- Report writing
- Portfolio management, including
- Review of on-going financial reporting
- Preparation of quarterly investor reporting
- Valuation of loan portfolio
- Maintain risk rating models
- Overall support of the team in all areas of the business, including origination, marketing, investor relations and administration
The Candidate
Crown is seeking a dynamic, hard working individual who is keen to work in a high paced, growth-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have the following skills, experience and attributes.
Skills and Experience
- One or more of CPA, CFA, CBV is an asset
- 3 years+ work experience
- Demonstrated work experience involving due diligence and financial/investment analysis is preferred
- Strong foundation in financial analysis and understanding of financial statements and accounting
- Proficient in financial modeling
- Report writing and written communications
- Interpersonal skills and oral communications
