Role: IT Project Manager

Work Location: Current remote. Post COVID at Mirabel, QC / Montreal Area


Job Responsibilities

Responsible to serve as the interface to the Manufacturing business functions (Methods, Quality, Integrated & Work Material Planning, Production) for the purpose of Information Management (IM) project delivery:

 Serves as the business relationship link between Manufacturing business functions and IM in regard to delivery of projects.

 Responsible to plan, coordinate, supervise all activities related to the design, development, implementation of the IM Manufacturing projects.

 Responsible to communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information to management levels regarding Manufacturing domain requests,

projects status, risk and opportunities.

 Ensure adequate level of IM staffing and relevant technical expertise to support project execution.

 Ensure appropriate technical requirements deliverables in support of IM supplier call for tenders as well as actively participate in the final supplier selection.

 Adopt adequate strategies to monitor and control monthly budget spending within the given scope as per target forecast, including implementing risk and

opportunities governance.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S or B.Ing.) and 10-15 years of IM and business/industry work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments preferably in the Manufacturing domain.

At least 5 years of leadership experience with managing team(s) working within complicated and evolving application landscape and business context.

5-10 years of experience managing IM projects.

Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Business Administration, or other related field or equivalent work experience.

The candidate must possess strong business acumen.

Technical qualifications :

 Product Development Technologies : Dassault Systems/SIemenst/PTC,CAD/CAM: Catia V4/V5/V6 3Dx, 3DVia

 Production Planning Systems : SAP/ECC (PP, PS, MM, SCM…), S/4Hana,

 Manufacturing Executions Systems : SAP ME/MI, Apriso

 Quality systems : SAP SQN, HMS

 Application development methodology : SAP ASAP, Waterfall, Agile

 Business Intelligence: SAP BW, Power BI, SQL Server BI , ETL

 Good understanding of Aerospace Product development / Manufacturing process including Planning/Logistics/ Quality/Certification process

 Integration Services : Datapower, Mulesoft

 Project Management / PMI knowledgeable
