Job Summary
Caspian One is currently looking for a Senior Java Developer for a Global client based in downtown Toronto.
The successful candidate will join a highly cohesive Fixed Income front office team to work on the development high scale, real-time distributed, multithreaded application used by the traders globally within the bank. A strong candidate will have strong Java application development experience on Linux systems.
You will need an in-depth understanding of multithreading, Algorithms and data structures. You will be working with relational databases such as SQL.Banking experience is not necessary but would be preferable a desire to learn the banking infrastructure is needed.
Essential skills: ·
- Experience writing multithreaded Java code·
- Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms, an appetite for solving complex software engineering problems in a global setting·
- Experience with relational databases such as Oracle and SQL·
- Proficiency with Linux development, and networking technologies.
