DJH & Partners is a well-established three-partners CPA firm located in Richmond Hill. We are seeking an experienced full time intermediate accountant to join our team.
Candidates for this position should have a minimum of one year of experience in a public accounting firm and have a good technical understanding of ASPE, GAAS and Canadian tax.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting and preparing audit and review working paper
- Preparation of Financial Statements
- Preparing compilation engagements and corporation tax returns
- Preparation of personal, corporate and trust tax returns
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of practical experience in a public accounting firm
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients
- Completion of, or working towards, a CPA designation
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Caseware, Profile, QuickBooks
