Position: Part-time Market Research Analyst
The market research analyst will help Anycubic study 3D printing market to examine potential sales and marketing opportunities. He or she needs to help the company understand what products people want, who will buy them, and at what price. The right candidate needs to interpret what the data means for our client and market, to help management evaluate our current products’ value and forecast future trends.
Duties
The Market Research Analyst typically does the following:
- Monitor and forecast marketing and sales trends.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing programs and strategies
- Create a research plan, gather data on consumer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habit. Collect data and information using a variety of methods, such as interviews, questionnaires, focus groups, market analysis surveys, public opinion polls, and literature reviews.
- Gather data about competitors and market conditions; research competitors and analyzing their prices, sales, and marketing methods.
- Analyze and evaluate data using statistical techniques and software
- Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
- Prepare reports and present results to clients and management, Using the information, they may help management determine potential markets, product demand, and pricing.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor or Master degree in marketing, statistics, business management, or business analysis
- At least two years of experience in marketing research; a proven record of successful market research projects is a great bonus
- Data collection skills are a must; Able to create market research plan and organize proper research activities and interact with the audience to gain the information needed.
- Can work flexibly and willing to handle time differences when needed. 10-20 hours are needed each week to complete research tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in statistical techniques and software
- Ideally bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese, or native speaker in English is accepted too

We are now looking for a part-time Marketing Research Analyst to join our marketing team and help us understand the 3D printing community and their needs. This position could be project-based and the pay is negotiable.
