Marketing Account Executive

Duties and Responsibilities:

Meeting and liaising with clients to discuss and identify their advertising requirements
Keep clients and the account team updated on the status of account activities
Working with agency colleagues to devise an advertising campaign that meets the client’s brief and budget
Maintain competitive tracking/reviews providing POV’s when required
Presenting alongside agency colleagues campaign ideas and the budget to the client
Brief media, creative and research staff and assisting with the formulation of marketing strategies
Liaising with and acting as the link between the client and the advertising agency by maintaining regular contact with both
Develop work back schedules and critical paths
Negotiating with clients, agency staff and vendors about the details of campaigns
Presenting creative work to clients for approval or modification
Handling budgets, managing campaign costs and invoicing clients
Monitoring the effectiveness of campaigns
Produce communication material (contact and status reports)
Undertaking administrative tasks

Requirements

Preferably 1-2 years’ experience in a client service role in an agency
Understanding of the creative and production process
Strong client service orientation and attention to detail
Ability to write and communicate effectively in English
Ability to speak, read and write in Chinese is a valuable asset
Project management skills, a demonstrated ability to multi-task and set priorities
Continually drive for results and the highest quality standards
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
Superior organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail
Ability to design and deliver presentations
Proficient in MS office
Curiosity for the business
Post-secondary education in marketing/advertising an asset
