Purpose:
The position will support the origination and execution of equity and equity-linked capital markets transactions, including but not limited to initial public offerings, follow-on offerings, convertible equity, and share repurchases. There will be frequent interaction with senior team members and ample opportunity for career growth and development.
Key Accountability:
Leads and oversees the execution of all U.S. equity new issue transactions including overseeing committee review, liability adjudication and liaising with external transaction partners
Leads and oversees the preparation of all U.S. equity capital markets elements related to client presentations
Source of all new issue related communications with global institutional equities (i.e., sales and trading)
Development and initiation of equity capital markets ideas
Support and coverage of external client relationships
An observer and participant on the Equity Commitment Committee
Oversight and mentorship of junior resources
Assistance with various internal projects to support the investigation and development/enhancement of new business activities and initiatives
Education & Experience:
Undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
Preferably at least 3 years of Equity Capital Markets or Investment Banking experience
The ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work.
A high level of attention to detail.
The ability to perform effectively in a team environment.
Willingness to work hard, including extended hours.
Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills are necessary for the successful applicant.
