Associate, Options Trader, Equity Derivatives

In this role as an Associate Options Trader within Global Equity Derivatives, you will contribute to the overall success of Global Equity Derivatives & Investor Solutions teams by ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Executes all activities in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Contributes to a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge
Helps senior traders manage all market risk on US books by capturing all trades in a timely manner
Provides accurate pricings for all products within area of responsibility as well as backup across the GED trading team as required
Supplies feedback to the financial engineering team to expand and improve the EQD model suite and risk management capabilitie
Ensures all risks are correctly reflected in RiskMonitor & compares topline risks to the approved limits outlined in the Desk’s LCS
Adheres to the Desk’s approved Volcker operating plan
Assists the EDT team in testing new model enhancements to help reduce model risk post implementation
Analyzes & summarizes equity vol market activity as requested by Sales & by Senior Management
Updates vols, divs & repos for all US underlyers; maintains correlation marks using approved tools
Liaises with internal support groups on all operational matters related to the GED trading books
Adheres to day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct
Asks insightful questions to continually learn about market dynamics, pricing procedures & client relationships; continually seeks to improve desk’s systems, procedures
Do you have the skills you need to succeed? We’d love to work with you, if you have:

Minimum 3 years work experience in options trading
Knowledge of global capital markets and structured financial products
Knowledge of the U.S./Canada Retail Structured Products market including the ability to price and risk manage autocallables, worst-ofs, barriers, correlation and other exotic structures
Knowledge of derivatives markets, including exotic equity and hybrid products
University degree in Business/Finance/Mathematics/Science
Ability to thrive in a challenging and collaborative working environment
Fully licensed and registered for trading stocks, options and futures in the US; minimum Series 3, 7, 63 and 57 qualified
Advanced computer skills required, especially in MS Excel and Visual Basic
Familiarity with Python or other programming languages strongly encouraged
Strong team player, excellent communication skills within the context of group collaboration
Curiosity & tireless work ethic required for rapid personal growth
