In this role, you will contribute to the overall success of Rates Trading in the United States ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? You will be responsible for:
Managing data repository
Providing on-demand and reoccurring reports for sales / trading
Liaising with sales / trading on e-trading strategies
Developing / implementing / managing / reporting back on strategies for RFQ trading
Liaising with trading on pricing of less liquid instruments
Developing, implementing, managing and reporting back on pricing of less liquid instruments
Having control over all the UST data going through the system, being able to have thoughtful conversations w sales / trading about pricing and client facing strategies and (eventually) run a book that accounts for that
Relationship with GWRT and Support
Managing relationship between desk and IT
Managing e-venue relationships, distribute reports, etc.
The goal of this person is to manage the book of work with GWRT and to ensure big fixes, enhancements, etc are prioritized and communicated to the desk
Trading Engine
Working with consultants to optimize trading engine
Taking responsibility for developing trading engine for RFQ negotiation
Taking responsibility for development of off the run pricing
Being able to fix bugs, functionality enhancements and communication of changes. Develop and deploy on top of the framework. Look to other opportunities inside the firm where the trading engine can be deployed
Do you have the skills you need to succeed? We’d love to work with you, if you have:
+7 years of experience
Experience running a trading book
7/63 licenses (requested but not mandatory)
Experience with client RFQ pricing for USTs
Experience with C++ coding
Has experience liaising with technology groups
