Cruickshank Construction Ltd., a leading roadbuilder and aggregate supplier located in Ontario has a need at our Kingston Office located at 751 Dalton Ave. for the following permanent position:
Operations Manager
Salary Range: $94,000 – $120,000
Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Construction/ Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years related Heavy Civil Structural bridge or road construction experience in a similar role
- Ability to read and interpret specifications and drawings
- Experience in the payment certificate process related to structures as well as other civil construction projects
- Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods for 50+ million dollar projects
- Demonstrated openness to change and innovative thinking
- Knowledge of local, provincial and federal workplace compliance regulations, ordinances and legislation
- Proficient in related computer applications (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safe, profitable and successful management of all operations
- Establish and monitor performance, delivery, quality standards to ensure client satisfaction and company compliance
- Develop and nurture relationships with key contracting clients, governing authorities and industry associations
- Ensure processes in place to ensure efficient and effective use of resources and timely and cost effective completion of contractual commitments
- Develop the project plans and ensure it is being followed – control and update the project schedule as required
- Visit and assess sites as needed
- Ensure compliance with relevant Health and Safety protocols and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures
