Manager, Global Compliance, Learning and Development

Purpose:

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning & Development the incumbent contributes to the execution and tracking of learning plans and initiatives for Global Compliance, ensuring alignment to business strategy and global learning standards and practices. This role works closely with Compliance program owners, subject matter experts and partners in Global Learning to implement learning solutions to support the Global Compliance Learning Program. Ensures all activities conducted follow governing regulations, internal policies and procedures

 

 

Accountabilities:

 

Working with the Senior Manager, supports the development of compliance learning to enhance and strengthen the overall Global Compliance Learning Program. Contributes to the identification of the right learning strategy and solutions to meet business needs.
Assists with compliance training needs assessments and documentation of any learning gaps.
Implements recommendation on program execution and program design from Senior Manager, Learning and Development.
Contributes and sometimes leads the creation and execution of specific learning programs to address specific business needs leveraging Global Learning standards and formats.
Supports in the evaluation and measurement of learning programs to identify strengths and opportunities.
Supports with quarterly learning reporting and dashboards, and updates to the learning tool, to ensure effective tracking and measurement of Global Compliance annual learning hours and other Compliance learning initiatives.
Supports with the annual update of the Global Compliance Learning Policy and Procedures, which includes gathering feedback from policy stakeholders, managing revisions, and supporting the communication and change management activities.
Proactively utilizes a wide range of HR data to identify themes/trends and recommend effective learning solutions to meet business needs.
Champion a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
 

Education/Experience Requirements:

 

University degree in HR, Business or related field
Degree, certificate or designation in Adult Learning
Relevant experience in developing and executing learning solutions in a large complex corporation
Experience in developing learning content for different learning styles and delivery approaches
Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills. Ability to engage effectively with all levels, Director level and below.
Strong prioritization and time management skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical skills and an understanding of learning measurement, metrics and reporting
Results oriented with an ability to action learning projects for results
Strong business acumen and understanding to be able to effectively partner with Global Compliance teams
Knowledge and/or experience of the banking industry or compliance is an asset
Proficiency with learning software and SharePoint is an asset
Spanish fluency is considered an asset
