Program Coordinator

eHealth Ontario is the organization enabling physicians and health care providers establish and maintain electronic health records (EHRs) for all of Ontario’s 13 million residents.

The Program Coordinator will ensure that goals and objectives specified for the program are accomplished in accordance with eHealth’s established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications.

Specific Accountabilities
•Ensure all documentation follows standards, is version controlled and loaded onto central program sites.

•Develops and schedules program work plan in accordance with specifications and deployment resources; oversees daily operations and coordinates activities of program; determines priorities.

•Follow-up on team member commitments and proactively identify risks.

•May be asked to manage small work packages.

Participate in the development of new program tools, templates and processes.

•Work independently and in a team environment under the direction of the Manager and the relevant business stakeholders as appropriate.

•Coordinate with the Manager to ensure timelines, budget and stakeholder requirements / quality guidelines are met.

•Monitor specific deliverables and timelines, communications as an integral member of the team; issues and risk management coordination as assigned.

•Review and track work products and deliverables

Investigate and follow-up on invoices, which includes proper coding, review of costs, matching to purchase requisitions, contracts, PO’s, etc., review monthly financial reports to submitted invoices, query unexpected charges and obtain copies of supporting documentation, follow-up on outstanding JV’s, corrections, etc., investigate missing charges, track status of requisitions / PO’s / SOWs

•Budget tracking reports by scrutinizing variances, verifying account charges, analyzing time reporting records and maintaining financial records.

•Assist in the preparation of status reports.

•Identify problems / issues and escalates as appropriate.

• Participate in program meetings.

Your Skills Make the Difference:
Experience
••At least 2 to 3 years of demonstrated program or project coordination experience

Technical Knowledge & Skills
•Familiarity with eHealth Ontario methodologies and standards (PLC, DLC, ITIL) and tools (Replicon, MS Project Server 2003, SharePoint) an asset.

•Demonstrated experience managing across full solution development lifecycle.

•Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills

•Ability to build and maintain productive working relationships with internal stakeholders.

•Knowledge or experience of the Health Sector and/or government is an asset.

•A team player and results oriented professional

•Strong organization, problem solving, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.

•Good written and oral presentation skills.

•Knowledge of basic project management methodology.

•Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

•Microsoft Project knowledge an asset, especially MS Project Server 2003.

•Basic knowledge of finance, accounting principles and practices.

Education
College or University degree or equivalent work experience.

Working Conditions
Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm, with some afterhours work required
