The Opportunity
The Development and Delivery Division is currently accepting applications for the position of Quality
Assurance Analyst III (Team Lead) .The Quality Assurance Analyst captures and solidifies business
process and functional requirements, providing detailed analysis & interpretation, as required. This
position also leads and oversees the creation of detailed business processes and functional
specifications & documentation and participates in business process and design reviews with all
stakeholders, both internally and externally.
In addition, this position participates in the assessment of application systems and application
development tools and provides mentorship and support to junior analysts and other business/technical
groups.
Responsibilities
Lead the process for assessing requirements, utilizing structured processes to establish business
priorities; consult with technical subject matter experts and develop alternative technology
solutions
Must have experience in a technical capacity and quality methodology/release process/testing
techniques in order to provide guidance and leadership to junior team members
Lead the evaluation and testing of new or modified software programs and software
development procedures used to verify that programs function according to user requirements
and conform to establishment guidelines
Writes documentation to describe program evaluation, testing, and correction
Leads the process of verifying and developing quality standards and test procedures for program
design and product evaluation to attain quality of software economically and efficiently
Reviews new or modified program and systems, including documentation, diagram, and
flowchart, to determine if program will perform according to user request and conform to
guidelines
Recommends program improvements or corrections to programs
Identifies differences between establishment standards and user applications and suggests
modifications to conform to standards
Leads and conducts compatibility tests with vendor-provided programs
Leads continuous process improvement
Evaluates proposed software or software enhancement for feasibility
Develops understanding of Client support processes with possible impact on product changes
Professional Requirements
Post-secondary education in Information Technology or Computer Science and minimum 7
years’ experience in a related field
Experience in financial and/IT industry as it relates to their role
Professionalism – exposure to Customer Service Methodologies and possesses strong written
and verbal communication skills
Proven problem solving skills
Highly motivated and enthusiastic
Results orientated and driven with ability to manage tasks and time efficiently
Demonstrated experience in the following areas:
Microsoft office and Visio
Base24, Tandem, Unix
Settlement system and EFT processing
Test Tools (Paragon, Lexcel, MDS, VTS)
ISO8583
EMV
