Information Security Specialist, Cloud Privileged Access Management

The Team
Scotiabank’s Information Security & Control (IS&C)’s Global Identity and Access Management group is responsible for development, management and governance of Logical Access control for the Bank’s information systems. Privilege Access Management (PAM) is a unit within the Identity and Access Management group that focuses on identification, management and governance of privileged access across Scotiabank and its subsidiaries. This role will focus on cloud identity management.

 

The role
The Information Security Specialist – Cloud PAM, will provide guidance to the Bank’s enterprise cloud services in the design, operations and management of  Privileged Accounts and access across the Bank’s Cloud information systems in-line with the bank’s standard and policy.

You thrive in current and desired state analysis of information security controls especially relating to Cloud identity management including PaaS, IaaS and SaaS. 
You are passionate about new technologies and enjoy finding solutions to the challenges of implementing Access controls to protect information systems.
You like working on multiple projects (from large and complex to simple projects)
You love to collaborate with various business lines, support functions and IS&C Control functions.
 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role?

You possess advanced communication (verbal/written/presentation) skills.
You have at least 5 years of hands-on technical experience managing/administering PAM solutions.  
Hands-on experience managing identities on multiple cloud computing platforms and cloud models. 
Prior experience in Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) solution for public clouds.
Hands-on experience in identity management for DevOps environment, containers and microservices. 
Strong scripting and automation skills using powershell and/or python
Strong knowledge of federated identities, SAML, Oauth2, openID connect and Kerberos
Knowledge and understanding of APIs and web services integration (SOAP and REST APIs)
CCSP, Azure SE, AWS IAM and/or Google CSE certifications would be an asset(s)
