About the role
As a Lead Developer, you will lead design, implementation, and deployment of production code fixes. You will participate in design discussions focused on scalability, observability, and operability of solutions.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

Collaborate with a game-changing team that is providing focus, scalability and continuous improvement to build our customer’s trust in our products
Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs
Produce day-to-day activities in a manner consistent with our risk culture
Champion a knowledge-sharing environment, promote peer-to-peer learning and prevent knowledge silos within the team
Mentor and coach other team members on technical issues, set standards and code reviews
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? – We’d love to work with you if you have:

3 – 5 years’ experience working on a large modernization for an enterprise company  using Cloud based technology (Azure preferred but GCP OR AWS will be considered)
3 – 5 years’ experience using recent cloud Microservices for modernizations
Recent projects (1-2 projects or min 3 years’) working with Spring Boot (for deployment); Spring Cloud, OAuth and Containers (Docker)
Recent projects (1-2 projects or min 3 years’) working Gradle (or similar technology); Junit
3 + years’ experience with API Gateway; Swagger/OpenAPI
Recent project experience using Angular (7 or above preferred) for UI development
Excellent communication and teamwork skills to work with multiple groups across the bank, gathering requirements
