Pinchin’s Kingston
office is currently recruiting for a full time Senior Project
Technologist within the Environmental Due Diligence & Remediation group. This role will be of interest to Applicants who are looking for a small office atmosphere within a medium-sized company. The Senior Project Technologist reports to the Office Manager.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments
Groundwater monitoring
Inspection and testing during environmental remediation
Shallow vapour and indoor air quality surveys
Writing reports to summarize data and drawings
Liaising between clients and contractors; supervision of contractors on job sites
Qualifications:
A
relevant degree or diploma related to the environmental consulting industry
A
minimum of 4 years’ experience conducting field work associated with Phase I
& II ESAs
Preference
will be given to those with experience in Environmental consulting in Ontario
with a strong working knowledge of O.Reg. 153/04 and those that will qualify
for a P.Eng. or P.Geo. certification
Proficiency
with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook is required
PowerPoint
and AutoCAD experience will be considered an asset
Strong ethical principles, a high attention to detail, and
excellent communication skills
This position involves work related
travel therefore, a valid driver’s license, insurance and personal vehicle is
required (work related travel expenses will be compensated).
There are times when
security clearance is required in order to gain access to a job site so a
Criminal Background Check will be conducted.
