  • Install highly resilient, performance-optimized Spotfire visualization systems when needed
  • Perform timely major and minor upgrades of the existing Spotfire components
  • Understand growing business needs and scale the Spotfire environments to serve growing capacity requirements
  • Customize Spotfire configurations as per special needs of 24×7 operational manufacturing Fab sites
  • Work with WD IT resources to provide support and maintenance of various Spotfire environments.
  • Monitor usage and resource utilization of all the Spotfire environments and make decisions to scale up or down
  • Manage the Spotfire user and developer community making use of existing Documentation and internal Jive
  • Ensure User and Server license compliance. Perform periodic audit on access and licenses
  • Create dashboards for management to provide current status on Spotfire license usage
  • Automate various everyday tasks using PowerShell and Batch scripts
  • Work with Developers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, identify fix and propagate fix to production following CR process
  • Work with the Big Data support team to align Spotfire system configurations to be compatible with Big data analytic platform changes.
  • Work with other Spotfire subject matter experts across different regional sites to define and execute upgrade roadmap.
  • Document and maintain global support process, FAQ, knowledge articles on corporate intranet site.
  • Provision user accounts and help user install Spotfire desk top client app.
