Responsibilities
- Install highly resilient, performance-optimized Spotfire visualization systems when needed
- Perform timely major and minor upgrades of the existing Spotfire components
- Understand growing business needs and scale the Spotfire environments to serve growing capacity requirements
- Customize Spotfire configurations as per special needs of 24×7 operational manufacturing Fab sites
- Work with WD IT resources to provide support and maintenance of various Spotfire environments.
- Monitor usage and resource utilization of all the Spotfire environments and make decisions to scale up or down
- Manage the Spotfire user and developer community making use of existing Documentation and internal Jive
- Ensure User and Server license compliance. Perform periodic audit on access and licenses
- Create dashboards for management to provide current status on Spotfire license usage
- Automate various everyday tasks using PowerShell and Batch scripts
- Work with Developers to troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, identify fix and propagate fix to production following CR process
- Work with the Big Data support team to align Spotfire system configurations to be compatible with Big data analytic platform changes.
- Work with other Spotfire subject matter experts across different regional sites to define and execute upgrade roadmap.
- Document and maintain global support process, FAQ, knowledge articles on corporate intranet site.
- Provision user accounts and help user install Spotfire desk top client app.
