What Your Role Will Be As An Administrative Clerk
 
In support of the effective administration of the Retail Service Centre, you will perform or provide assistance by completing duties accurately and in conformity to Bank regulations and procedures. To do so, you will control, check, balance, and maintain specific bank systems, and provide professional and efficient customer service if/when responding to Branches, third parties, and third party partners, which the Unit services during the completion of these assignments.
 

What You’ll Be Doing

•    Providing processing support by acquiring a good knowledge of product accounting functions and a thorough knowledge of systems used, as well as accurately processing, posting, and maintaining daily transactions within assigned Position Authorities. 
•    Providing customers and business line partners with excellent service by ensuring productivity goals are attained; processing customer requests in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining customer confidentiality, and taking full responsibility for assigned inquiries/concerns/complaints by resolving those matters within assigned timeframes and with adherence to Bank policy and procedure.
•    Maintaining strict adherence to security procedures by adhering to all Bank/department policies, procedures, regulations, and audit requirements within assigned authority and responsibility, and by reporting any unusual occurrences or fraudulent activity to management.
•    Participating actively in team activities/initiatives and taking responsibility for self-learning and development with learning and embracing new procedures, technologies, and processes, demonstrating leadership with peers and business partners, setting high standards for customer service and professionalism, and participating in and supporting change initiatives.
•    Performing other related duties as assigned, including providing coverage on a variety of jobs within various units, as determined based on the day-to-day operational requirements.

Skills You Already Have and What You Will Learn

 

You know your way around a computer, and can easily multitask between numerous internal platforms while dealing indirectly with your customers and directly with business partners, Branches, third parties, and third party partners. A keyboarding speed of 25+ wpm and a high school diploma (or a recognized equivalent), complete the basic requirements.

Hiring Details and Work Hours

 

This is a 4 contract position with a start date of May 31, 2021
Operating hours are Monday – Friday, and 8:30am – 5:00pm. Flexibility to work within these hours of operation is required.
This position is not remote, will be required to work in person at the Stratford office on 10 Wright Boulevard.
