A fast-growing importer and distributor is looking for a Supply Chain Assistant. This position
will start from part time basis and be transitioned to full time after one to three months’
probation. The successful candidate has a lot to learn and grow within the company, as it has
strong affiliates including an accounting firm, a career training and immigration service
company and a fulfillment warehousing. The company fully supports staff immigration
application if needed, as well as career development in Canada.

Explain the type and cost of products/services offered; Answer inquiries and provide
relevant information to customers
Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce; discuss type,
quality and quantity of products or services; Provide product advice to customers
Prepare products as per order sheet; Pack products to be shipped
Calculate cost of orders and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts;
Arrange for billing, refunds and credits; Address customers' complaints or concerns
Coordinate the logistics with various transportation companies, vendors and customers
Contact suppliers to schedule deliveries and to resolve shortages, missed deliveries
and other problems; Unpack goods received; Inspect and verify incoming goods against
invoices or other documents
Route goods to appropriate storage areas
Maintain sales records for inventory control
Reconcile physical inventories with computer counts
Maintain stock rotation and dispose of and account for outdated stock
Ad-hoc requests assigned
