Purpose

 

Responsible for the collection, analysis, reporting and communication of human capital data (metrics / measurement) for the Leadership team and key partners across HR. This role supports the leadership strategy by providing valuable insights into workforce trends and talent gaps that inform our approach to executing our leadership focus while ensuring compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Accountabilities

 

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
 

Manages data reporting & analytics including but not limited to: 

Developing leadership metrics on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis for the assigned portfolio (All Bank/business line/corporate function) to measure effectiveness in building leadership capability;
Preparing dashboards/presentations for Senior Management meetings to communicate progress against key performance indicators and program initiatives;
Partnering with other COE and Business HR partners to provide meaningful data/tracking of leadership initiatives (DTM results, leadership development metrics and action plans, APP targets etc.), as well as ad-hoc reporting needs
Providing members of the Leadership team with relevant, up-to-date talent information, highlighting trends and making impactful observations to support discussions with Senior Executives.

 

Identifies opportunities to evolve current processes, analytics and reporting by:

Making recommendations for key measures that drive leadership behaviours and business results by using analytics, providing insight on current state while highlighting potential gap areas;
Streamlining, developing and automating dashboards to support the Leadership team and HR partners;
Investigating opportunities to advance self-service and information on demand options for partners

 

Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
 

Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.

Education/Experience Required:

 

Undergraduate University degree / College Diploma
Previous experience in business analysis or analytics role, preferably within Human Resources
Demonstrated strong technical aptitude and analytical skills, including making impactful observations
Effective communication skills with the ability to interact and build strong relations with internal partners and key stakeholders
Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task, plan, organize and prioritize work
A high degree of expertise with Microsoft Office applications, emphasis on Excel
Knowledge of Power BI is an asset
Fluency in Spanish is an asset
