The Team:
The team is responsible for the Global Chart Strategy for the Banks Financial Chart of Accounts.
The Role:
As part of the Global Finance & Risk Data and Analytics team, you will work with our business partners and senior management to solve complex enterprise problems in data management, financial modeling, regulatory risk, analytics and technology integration. You will have the opportunity to explore and leverage leading technologies to transforms data into actionable insights to drive business decisions.
The work is dynamic day to day, providing the opportunity to lead performance management modeling workshops, coding applications in JAVA, SAS and SQL and supporting numerous large implementation projects. This role will provide you the opportunity to learn and network with business partners across all the business lines and countries and may involve travel to all our global locations.
Some of the Key Accountabilities include:
Lead/Support Data Management implementations
Design and develop interactive modeling engines to support business analytical needs
Support data conversion and reconciliation activities on large implementation
Lead and present complex data/finance/risk issues and resolutions to our business partners and senior management
Support the design and implementation of the Banks Enterprise Finance and Risk Data Strategy
Lead/Support Proof of Concept initiatives on emerging technologies and AI concepts
What You Will Bring to Succeed:
Strong knowledge of SQL & programming languages, preferably Java or C# or C;
Working knowledge of Python and R libraries and concepts
Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and front-end development libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Angular, React is a major asset
Knowledge of ERP systems (eg, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, SAP) an asset
Knowledge of finance and accounting or risk management is an asset
Big 4 accounting firm work experience is an asset
