Purpose
Contributes to the overall success of the Wealth Digital Transformation in Canada ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Accountabilities 

•    Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.

•    Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to identify key developments, challenges and insights 
•    Develop PowerPoint presentations that present key information and conclusions in a manner that allows clear communication, focused conversations and reduced ambiguity
•    Develop and maintain roadmaps based on information gained from project teams in Powerpoint or in a visualization tool 
•    Beak down strategic problems, analyze data and information to provide insights and recommendations
•    Guide and support the prioritization, analysis and resolution of strategic projects
•    Exhibit strong attention to detail when designing presentations and engaging in the budgeting process
•    Coordinate elements of the budgeting process and report the tracking of actual results vs. budget.
•    Support development and execution of strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
•    Build effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders
•    Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.

•    Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education / Experience 

•    Experience developing business and communications that reflect the target audience and distill key information
•    Fundamental understanding of design concepts and demonstrated experience applied them in a corporate setting
•    Prior experience working within a development team and knowledge of the software development lifecycle
Strong understanding of the financial industries and Wealth Management
•    Detail oriented to maintain a high standard of design and accuracy of reporting 
•    Strong presentation skills and written and verbal communication skills
•    Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities and tight deadlines
•    Advanced capabilities using Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Visio
•    Experience using JIRA and road map visualization tools such as Aha!
•    Strong organizational and prioritization skills
•    Self-motivated, proactive, and driven team-player attitude
