Manager, Lending Strategy

Purpose
The manager, lending strategy will be part of a team that is accountable for management of lending revenues for the Canadian credit card portfolio. This includes building new products and features for lending, setting strategy for lending rates, fees, service charges, operational management of processes related to pricing, as well oversight of projects for product and system enhancements related to lending and pricing     

 

Accountabilities
Example accountabilities include, 
•    Manage lending margins across suite of credit card products
•    Develop product roadmap for lending product and feature enhancements 
•    Keep up to date on competitive insights for pricing changes in the market
•    Recommend pricing changes based on competitive, customer and profitability analysis
•    Execute strategic projects to optimize lending revenues for credit cards
•    Oversight of automated pricing processes, policies and controls 
•    Responsible for legal risk mitigation and regulatory compliance for pricing related issues
•    Be a champion for the customer and resolve customer escalations with urgency

Education And Other Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree required
5 years of professional experience, payments and banking industry experience is an asset
Product, project management, strategy, consulting or experience operating a business is a definite asset
Experience and competency with building presentations, project plans and dashboards
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
