Senior Digital Product Lead, Scotia Digital

As a key member of the digital onboarding product team, you will develop & own the roadmap for the digital customer onboarding journey at Scotiabank. You will work closely with the rest of the Onboarding team to build a compliant, efficient, and industry leading onboarding experience. You will partner with departments across the company (e.g. Operations, Fraud, Legal, Compliance, and more) to negotiate and push for good customer experience & high business value, while protecting the bank.

 

Is this role right for you?

 

Own the roadmap for customer onboarding experience for all of Scotiabank customers, across product lines
Lead problem discovery to understand customer needs, current challenges and work closely with design and engineering partners to come up with solutions
Establish clear OKRs for your product area and work with analytics team to measure and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs)
Use data to drive decisions. Build hypothesis, test & iterate to formulate an agile product development approach
Maintain a prioritized backlog, write detailed user stories and participate in sprint planning & review activities. Engage day-to-day with the scrum teams, clarifying questions and helping with decision making
Establish a close relationship with the business stakeholders to ensure their requirements are translated into the right products. Manage expectations with effective communication

 

 Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed?

You have 3+ years of experience in a role building customer facing digital products
You have managed a technology product or a digital journey end to end, from inception to delivery
Experience in the financial industry is an asset
You are a strong problem solver and have a flair for getting things done
You have excellent organizational and analytical skills with strong attention to detail
You have a curious and experimental mindset to drive innovation amidst uncertainty
Your verbal and written communication skills are exceptional, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at different levels in the organizations
