The Expedition Women in Leadership Program at a Glance:
Contributes to the overall success of Scotiabank of Canadian Banking and Wealth Management in Canada and Latin America, ensuring specific individual goals, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the teams business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

The Expedition Women in Leadership Program is focused on identifying, developing and retaining high performing diversity talent. At the end of the 2-year rotational program, candidates will be equipped with the technical, analytical and leadership abilities to transition into senior level roles within different business lines. The program consists of three rotations, each 8 months in length.
Accountabilities:
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Lead and develop strategy and effectiveness projects that solve business problems
Collaborate with business lines, delivery channels and support areas to identify and drive initiatives
Contribute to the business development of new products and/or enhancements based on market analysis
Work closely with senior management and a diverse set of stakeholders to drive client focused strategies
Provide innovative ideas and solutions to create new opportunities to build Scotiabanks value proposition and grow client relationships.
Understand how the Banks risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabanks Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Program Requirements:
Masters Degree or professional designation (i.e. CA, CFA, PMP) preferred
3-5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in strategy, transformation, consulting, analytics or project management is an asset
The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest in working in a Financial Institution
