Senior Relationship Manager, Contingent Workforce Management

Purpose

 

Contributes to the overall success of the HR/Talent function globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

 

Accountabilities

 

Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Responsible for ensuring best value from the Bank’s contingent workforce spend and supplier contracts in partnership with key business stakeholders, Procurement, Finance and Talent Acquisition teams
Partners closely with the business (primarily US & Technology) to ensures a smooth experience for managers during the full life cycle of contractor management (job posting, candidate reviews, onboarding, invoicing, payment, off-boarding).
Understands business strategy and direction that feeds demand management for resourcing needs, provide advice on how best to optimize contingent workforce value, service and capabilities based on data driven insights
Aligns business to CWM operating model, strategy, policies, process and standards and proactively recommends improvements
Provides input/guidance on CWM supplier portfolio to business (price/cost, quality, performance, options)
Interpret data and trends related to contingent workforce; recommend approaches to supplement talent acquisition
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education/Experience Requirements:

 

Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, Supplier Management experience
Bank and/or industry experience with a global firm
Knowledge of contingent workforce industry and constantly changing regulatory requirements
Ability to work and communicate very well with various business partners, suppliers and across all levels, including Executive interaction and presentation skills
Adept at understanding and interpreting analytics and spend data for presentation to stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to provide data-based insights to provide program improvements and recommendations
Strong relationship, stakeholder management and influencing skills
Knowledge of SAP Fieldglass required
Knowledge of SAP Success Factors is an asset
