Our Client is a reputable General Contractor head quartered in the Niagara region. Due to continued growth, we are recruiting an intermediate accountant to join this exciting team.
Job Description
- Assist with month-end overhead analysis, expenses accrual for all departments.
- Prepare monthly Balance sheets reconciliations.
- Maintain and update prepaid schedules and prepare journal entries.
- Assist Controller, to ensure the month end activities and audit queries are completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Assist with AP when required.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, working towards an accounting designation with minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting and reporting.
- Excellent computer skills & MS office along with experience in accounting packages.
- High attention to detail
- Experience in the construction industry preferred
