The Sr. Business Analyst shall support the deployment of new initiatives in the Enterprise systems domain. They will assess Canada business needs, assist Developers by producing requirements via agile user stories, and lead testing activities. The Senior Analyst’s activities will primarily focus on strategic initiatives in an Agile framework; however, there will be a continued need to support existing applications, and ensure there they provide a high level of service to our customers.

Position Responsibilities

Work closely with key stakeholders to understand and gather business needs and requirements and work with stakeholders to identify and escalate business issues, risks, limitations, and dependencies.

Provide stakeholder requirements in User story formats.

Provide QA effort and feedback on initiatives.

Perform and assist in Agile project functions.

Service orientated with the ability to effectively manage customer expectations and needs.

Assist Product Manager with team functions.

Provide Adhoc reporting.

Mentor BA’s.

Qualifications

Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree
Minimum Years of Experience Required: 6-8 years

Strong communication skills, written and oral, strong presentation, leadership, facilitation and workshop management skills to diverse types of audiences (e.g., senior management, management, vendors, and technical staff).

Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome confusion and simplify complex situations by proactively identifying issues, determining appropriate course of action, and building consensus.

Must be experienced at executing in a fast-paced environment, with the possibility of juggling multiple projects/issues simultaneously.

Knowledge in creating queries utilizing the following databases IBM DB2, SQL Server, Teradata,

Licensing & Other Qualifications

PMP and/or PMI-ACP and/or CBAP would be an asset
