This role will be a key contributor to the Salesforce transition project implementation. CAMSC is currently transitioning from a bidding platform to Salesforce. The role will ensure the structured and unstructured data present in existing systems is accurate and complete prior to conversion to Salesforce.
Responsibilities:
- This role will collaborate with multiple teams to review, cleanse, and prepare data for migration effectively and efficiently.
- Validations and data cleanse will require reconciliation, mapping requirements, and validating data from legacy system.
- Accountable for the accurate transference of data to new systems and repositories, which will require mapping of data and uploading or updating.
Qualifications:
- Student in first year of study, or on first work-term.
- Education and Experience: Majoring in Data Management, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with Salesforce would be an asset.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Self-motivator and detail oriented.
- Ability to learn from feedback and execute based on provided instruction.
- Proficiency in general tools such as using Microsoft Excel, Outlook.
- Must possess solid analytical, problem-solving, planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Attention to detail is critical to the success of this position and the ability to deal with ambiguity.
- Ability to analyze, interpret and communicate recommendations to senior management.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing required.

Job Tasks:
- Document and track data quality issues, missing data, incorrect data, duplicates.
- Coordinate meetings with team members in relation to cleansing activities.
- Review and cleanse master data (Suppliers, Members, Partners, etc.), including but not limited to company name, contacts, address, payments, duplication identification and review, mapping field values from old to new.
- Assist with planning data conversion and migration.
- Meet deadlines and turnaround times set by management and team lead.
