Business Expense Analyst

What is the opportunity?

In this position, you will provide support to the department leaders by managing invoice processing and monitoring monthly expense budgets, including regional budgets of sales teams and key project budget tracking. You will be involved in the input/maintenance of expense tracking processes, assist in operating budgets, and independent analysis. What will you do?

Key contact for expense related questions and processes across Individual Investor Departments

Manage invoice processing for various departments including tax code and GL identification

Establish tracking for monthly expenses of various departments.

Maintain Excel files using downloads from SAP expense module.

Prepare Monthly Trailer Fee Verification

Prepare ad hoc analyses for senior management including investigation of expense trends.

Provide back-up for daily trade monitoring activities

Participate in other monthly analysis as opportunities occur.

What do you need to succeed?

Must have

Analytical thinker along with appropriate attention to detail

Possess strong written communication/interpersonal skills

High competency in MS Office, particularly Excel including power query and pivot tables

Familiarity with SAP expense module

Team player who works collaboratively with multiple teams

Nice to have

An innovative self-starter, who works well under time/deadline pressures

Achievement Orientated

Able to adapt quickly and function independently in an unstructured environment

Working towards an accounting designation
