This opening is available either:
- on-site at our mid-town Toronto head office OR
- as a remote position in the Waterloo-Guelph area, with the requirement to visit the Toronto office periodically
Responsibilities:
You will be working remotely with a small, informal and tightly integrated team of programmers and QAs on a wide variety of existing and upcoming GIS-related mobile software development projects.
Required skills:
- Professional experience developing software for iOS or MacOS using Swift or Objective-C
- In depth understanding of core OOP concepts, including OOD, exceptions and memory management
- High standard of quality in coding practices
Any of the following is nice to have for some of our ongoing projects:
- Working knowledge of C++
- Experience building mobile applications on iOS, Android or Windows Mobile
- Raster / vector 2D graphics
- Interest in digital geography and GIS
