Your Skillset:
- Strong java development experience
- Unit testing frameworks
- Linux/Ubuntu development environment
- Web development experience
- Restful API experience
- JSON and/or XML
- Java script and/or JQuery
- Jetty and/or Tomcat application server experience
- JSP and/or JSF
Education/Experience:
- University degree or College Diploma in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of Development experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well within a team.
- Experience working on projects utilizing agile development methodologies.
Nice to have Skills:
- Source control software experience ( git, svn)
- Deployment delivery software (ansible, puppet, deb files)
- Scripting languages (sh, ruby, php)
- Build Infrastructure (mvn, ant, ivy, jenkins)
- Text-based searching technologies (Lucene, ElasticSearch)
- Hadoop-related technologies (flume, CDH, HBase, avro)
- Database experience (mysql)
