Duties

As a member of the Project Management Office team at PortfolioAid, the Jr. Project Manager will provide leadership across a range of client-facing and internal initiatives. Projects vary in scope with the size of the deployment, and involve substantial business analysis and technology integration.

The Jr. Project Manager will also participate in the completion of internal projects. Internal projects are typically related to the company’s hosted application service, but may include activities in marketing, risk management, information technology, or product development.

The Jr. Project Manager will work closely with business analysts, developers, clients, and the Director. This position may be responsible for issue management plans and logs, business requirements, project charters, procurement documents, cost and schedule tracking, and management plans for quality and communications.

This position will report to the Manager, PMO.

Skills

Job requirements

  • Previous experience working in the financial services sector is an asset. Compliance knowledge would be preferred
  • Ability to carry out project accounting, tracking and reporting requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and judgment skills.
  • PMP designation is preferred but not a requirement.
