Please note this is a 12 – month maternity leave contract position 

 

As the Consultant, Digitization and Automation, you will be responsible for supporting the Sr. Manager, Digitization & Automation in delivery of HR technology solutions to drive continued improvements. This role also resolves technology issues escalated from the HR Services teams as tier two support.

 

Accountabilities

 

Provides technical support on system issues, resolves HR application-related issues escalated from the HR Services teams (Tier two support)
Manages user system access, data uploads and related service requests
Identifies and investigates possible risks or gaps in current system procedures. Creates solutions to limit exposure through the development of automated audit processes
Creates procedural documentation related to HR Applications that have been enhanced or newly created for Tier One and Tier Two teams
Identifies gaps or opportunities for system or process improvements and solutions.
Support with projects and initiatives by working closely with the product owners
Collaborates with technology teams in the coordination and scheduling of system updates and system configuration
Analyzes user trends and, where directed researches related best-practices on HR technologies to provide insights to the product teams
Upskills Digitization and Automation teammates through coaching and knowledge transfer activities 
 

Requirements

 

Post-secondary Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or Business
2+ years experience with technology related roles;  previous experience with HR systems or information systems preferred (such as SuccessFactors, PEGA, etc.) is an asset
Understanding of HR processes and programs
Strong knowledge of organizational structure and complexity
Strong analytical skills
Attentive to details and deadlines; ability to manage multiple priorities
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Written and Spoken Spanish an asset
